A Safety-First Design

The new "Easy Fit", (patent pending) scaffold internal end plug has been engineered and designed to a high specification using information and requests from the scaffolding industry's safety experts, who have to implement and enforce the "Working at Height" regulation, together with "Risk of Falling Objects”.

In addition to this; the flange ends on the new plug also protects the user from any finger injuries, due to any sharp edges when handling the scaffold tubes.

 

Built from Experience

As well as our own experience in the scaffolding industry, stretching back more than 40 years, we have also consulted extensively with Yard Supervision and Yard Personnel who would have the task of installing the new Easy Fit Plugs — each of whom agree that the plug goes above and beyond their requirements.


Design

The unique shape and design of this new plug gives maximum strength and durability to protect it from any external damage, as well as preventing various unwanted items from being placed inside the scaffold tubes, which could become a "high risk of falling hazard", that could cause serious injury to site personnel, members of the public or severe damage to plant and equipment when the scaffolding is removed or dismantled. It is manufactured in a High-Visibility, High Impact, Copolymer Polypropylene recyclable material, to fit 4mm variable wall thickness scaffold tubes.


Removal and Maintenance

The Easy Fit Plug also has the ability to be removed if required — this can only be done by using the special, tamper-proof-designed, 4 pick-up threaded removal tool. This then allows access to place specialised equipment into the scaffold tubes, such as screw jacks, folk heads etc... furthermore, by utilising the plug removal tool the integrity and quality of the plug remains intact, allowing them to be re-installed as often as required.
